Yogi Adityanath Makes a Powerful Case for Unity in “Batenge Toh Katenge”

“You are witnessing events in Bangladesh. Speaking to a group in Agra, Yogi Afdhe continued, “Those mistakes should not be repeated here… batting to katenge, ek rahenge to nek rahenge.”

Using the example of Bangladesh, a neighbor, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made a compelling case for national unity, saying, “Batenge toh katenge (If we are divided, we will be destroyed).” He continued, saying “only when we stay united will the nation be empowered.”
“Nothing can be above the nation,” the Chief Minister declared today during a rally in Agra. And only when we stand together can the country gain strength.”

“You are witnessing events in Bangladesh. Here, those errors must not be made again. “Ek rahenge to nek rahenge, batting to katenge,” he continued, addressing a crowd during the inauguration of a statue in Agra.

Following Sheikh Hasina’s resignation as prime minister and departure from the nation, the chief minister accused the opposition yesterday of engaging in divisive politics, claiming they are more focused on winning votes than the situation of Hindus in Bangladesh.

“The opposition has been remarkably silent about the persecution of Hindus and the destruction of temples in Bangladesh, despite being quick to speak out on global issues.” They observe Palestine, but they ignore Bangladesh out of concern for their voter base,” he remarked.

“We must unite to expose and counter those divisive forces that seek to fracture society for their petty interests,” he stated.

In his speech today, he conveyed a subdued caution.

“We’ll strive for harmony. We will not allow anyone to sow discord in our society based on any basis, including language, location, or case. Such individuals should be avoided, and we have a civic duty to fulfil,” he continued.
